Client-Facing API: Building for the Next Generation of Claims Work

Kyber’s client-facing API lets claims organizations securely connect their own applications and AI agents to Kyber’s governed document generation, review, and delivery workflows.

Claims technology is entering a new phase of modernization.

The previous phase focused on replacing legacy systems and connecting specialized platforms. Now, carriers are starting to consider what happens when AI assistants and agents can work across those systems, gather context, initiate tasks, and coordinate workflows on an adjuster’s behalf.

Most claims organizations are still early in that transition and mature AI agents are not yet operating systems. But carriers are already building internal applications, testing AI assistants, and rethinking how work should move between people and systems. A request can begin in a claim system, an internal adjuster workspace, or an AI assistant. Once it reaches Kyber, the document follows the same process already configured for the organization.

Approved templates still control the document structure. Kyber still uses the relevant claim and policy context. The organization’s permissions, review requirements, delivery workflows, and audit history remain in place.
