Kyber Integrates with Sinch Mailgun to Bring Scalable, Auditable Email Delivery to P&C Claims Teams

New integration expands Kyber’s email fulfillment ecosystem, giving insurance carriers more choice in how they securely deliver high-volume policyholder communications.

NEW YORK — OCTOBER 27, 2026 — Kyber, the AI-powered document generation and delivery platform built for property and casualty (P&C) insurance, today announced an integration with Sinch Mailgun, Sinch’s email platform, giving carriers using Kyber a new option for delivering policyholder communications by email.

‍
The integration connects Kyber’s claims communication platform directly with Mailgun’s cloud-based email infrastructure, enabling carriers to send notices from their verified sending domain, attach finalized PDFs generated in Kyber, and have communications automatically documented back to the claim file, all within their existing Kyber workflow.

‍
Insurance carriers are under growing pressure to modernize how they communicate with policyholders. Many P&C insurers still route policyholder communications through individual adjuster inboxes, where attachments are downloaded locally, language can vary from person to person, and records of what was sent may be captured inconsistently. At the same time, carriers often operate within complex, long-established technology environments that make replacing existing systems difficult.

Kyber’s integration with Mailgun is designed to address that gap: helping carriers modernize how they deliver policyholder communications without requiring them to replace the systems already in place.

The integration is built to work with the technology carriers already use. Carriers can connect a Mailgun account to Kyber using their own API credentials. By connecting Mailgun’s email infrastructure directly with Kyber’s claims correspondence workflow, carriers gain a structured, auditable path from document generation and approval through email delivery and tracking, with communication records documented back to the claim file.

"For insurers, policyholder communications have to reach the inbox everyday, especially when catastrophe events drive sudden surges in claims activity," said Kyle Hunter, VP of Product Management for Sinch Mailgun. "Mailgun provides scalable, reliable email infrastructure insurers need to deliver critical communications through their own verified sending domains, with visibility into delivery and engagement. We're excited to see Kyber build on Mailgun's API to help claims teams integrate these communications directly into the workflows they already use."

Key Benefits for Claims Teams

With the Mailgun integration, insurers using Kyber get a more connected email workflow:‍

- Verified sending domains: Send claims correspondence through a carrier-owned, verified sending domain rather than individual adjuster inboxes. Authenticated through Mailgun, this helps improve inbox placement, build trust, and ensure more consistent policyholder communications.

- Automatic PDF attachments: Attach finalized notices and supporting documents generated in Kyber without local downloads or manual steps.

- Built-in delivery tracking: Kyber pulls delivery and engagement events from Mailgun, giving carriers visibility into when communications are sent, delivered and, where tracking is enabled, opened.

- Structured claim notes: On send, Kyber automatically writes a claim note documenting which document was emailed, from which address, to which recipients and at what time, creating a clear audit trail for compliance and QA.

‍- Infrastructure that scales with the carrier: Carriers can start with a self-service Mailgun account and, as sending volume grows, move to a higher Mailgun plan or work with the Mailgun team on higher-volume configurations, including dedicated IPs where appropriate – without changing the Kyber workflow. This flexibility also helps carriers manage sudden spikes in correspondence volume during catastrophic (CAT) events, with Mailgun's deliverability support helping maintain reliable email delivery at scale.

‍

“Insurance carriers have spent years building technology ecosystems that meet their unique security, compliance and operational requirements. Our role is to give them the flexibility to choose the technology that works best for their organization and make those systems work seamlessly together, it’s to make the systems they already trust work better together,” said Arvind Sontha, Founder & CEO of Kyber. “Adding Mailgun to Kyber’s fulfillment ecosystem gives carriers more choice in how they deliver critical communications while keeping document generation, workflow and delivery orchestration centralized in Kyber.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Kyber different from traditional CCMs?

Kyber isn’t just a template library. It uses AI to pull the right policy language, apply jurisdictional rules, and generate accurate notices automatically. Every draft includes a built-in audit trail for full compliance visibility. Unlike legacy CCMs, Kyber is also lightweight to implement and easy to maintain across your claims team.

How does Kyber ensure compliance?

Kyber applies pre-approved templates, inserts only validated policy language, and enforces jurisdictional requirements for every letter. All edits, approvals, and versions are tracked automatically. All your organization's documents are audit-ready by default.

Does Kyber integrate with my existing Claims System?

Yes. Kyber is customizable to your organization’s existing tech stack (including core systems) and processes

How much time does it take to implement Kyber?

Most teams are live within a quarter when integrating with an existing claims system. For new integrations or more complex environments, implementation typically takes up to four months with full support from our onboarding team.

How does Kyber protect my organization’s data?

Kyber supports on-premise and private cloud deployments, and meets SOC 2 Type II compliance standards. You can choose the architecture that aligns with your internal security protocols while maintaining full control over sensitive claims and policy data.
